Mt. Everest (yes, fundies it was there, and 29,000 feet tall) was submerged. That would mean that this rain would have raised the worldwide sea level by about 750 feet per DAY, or about 33 feet per HOUR. It is known that if all the available moisture in the earths atmosphere was converted to water, the oceans would raise only a tiny fraction of this amount. How is this biblical absurdity explained??

That is just one hole in that story. It is the most absurd of all of the stories and needs not be challenged, yet I do love it so reading the answers of those that defend it.
There are some 8,600 species of birds so far described and 3,700 species of mammals. 20,000 species of fish are documented out of an estimated 40,000 believed to exist. Known insect species number over 850,000 and this is estimated as being fewer that 1/5 or even 1/10 of the total number in extant. The number of cataloged flowering plant species is over 286,000 and about 4,000 more are cataloged every year. The number of different species of fungi is in excess of 40,000. If you add it all up you get over 1.6 billion different forms of life on this planet. Since over 99% of all life forms that have ever existed are now extinct we end up with a total species number of as high as 160 billion. Please explain why your creator went to all this effort only to give one species any special favors. How did Noah manage to place at least 3.2 billion different life forms on the ark?
Which of Noah's children were black? Which were Korean, East Indian, Hispanic? Which had blue eyes, green eyes, hazel eyes, brown eyes? Which were albino? Which of Noah's children had brown hair, red hair, black hair, blonde hair? Which of Noah's children had syphilis, AIDS, gonorrhea, tuberculosis, polio, smallpox? Which of Noah's children had congenital heart defects?

You are taking lie and stacking it on lie and that is why it makes no sense.
First, earth use to be smaller in the past, science proves this and a new theory of so called plates moving is coming out. Plates don't actually move, but the earth has been expanding instead. So that means the water it would take today to cover the earth is more than it would take in history.
Next, few grasp the single word in the bible, firmirment. Once defined, it means water or ice shield above the earth. Science has proven it was once there for we see ice chunks still floating. Ice in space like this is so cold, that it becomes magnetic and that is how it would of stayed up as a shell around the earth. Been duplicated in the lab.
This firmirment melting would easily produce the water needed to flood the old world. Plus the water that was on the planet, and the water that is under the crust. Now once those numbers are added up. Then yes, there was enough water to flood the earth, even take it higher than the highest point.
Now I am sure you are not believing any of this but the facts are there, past high school books. Also Planet X, Nibiru is part of this and the theory of hollow earth. For earth is hollow. That is " the springs of the deep " and where all the extra water came from. For there is an entire ocean system that is inside the crust. What we call "ground water" is just that, ground water. Its not all the water that is "under" the ground as we call it. But you would have to study up on holllow earth and even how its mentioned in Genesis to grasp all that as well.
See, its like any story. When parts are left out, not understood or reworded to the point they don't make sense. The entire story no longer makes sense. But once one has the facts and puts them together like a puzzle, even w/ the help and aid of science, then the true picture starts to show itself.
Same principles can be applied to dinosaurs and even able to show and prove that they still walk today among us, we just don't realize it for times, climate, conditions have changed.

I think we can all agree that this was some rainstorm. Think what this would have done to New Orleans. The only explanation that I can think of is that "god" created a heck of a lot more atmospheric moisture just for this particular event. "He" wanted to kill a lot of people and a lot of innocent animals. Then after it was over, and the deed was done, "he" un-created this extra moisture, and it has remained the same until the present day. But why Noah and his boat came to rest on Mt Ararat at the 14,000 foot level instead of somewhere in the Himalayas, where there are countless peaks higher than Ararat is so far unknown.

How did seashells get near the top of Mt. Etna? The same biblical account states clearly that the 'mountains were raised' as also the 'seabeds were lowered', to accomodate the floodwaters which innundated the planet.
No big deal at all. What's more puzzling is the intense fear you display. At what 'exactly' has your wits become so petrified? It's only a themepark, after all...The landscaping was the easiest part.

Scientifically this Biblical story is hard to believe. But as a matter of an interesting side line, there are about 30 different religions (not Jewish, Christian, or Islamic) that believe in a flood story. I find this an interesting item. Maybe there was not the flood as deep as Noah's but a flood that appeared to have covered more than the known world.

It was only a regional flood (but still very large). The target called Gibor were regional so the whole earth need not be flooded just that region. That is also why the ark was big enough because it only had to hold the animals that were indigenous to the region.

You missed the part where it said,
"all the springs of the great deep burst forth"
Yes it rained, but even science will tell you the the earth's crust rest on a liquid layer. think about it.

Well, in fairness to those who believe it happened, Ice Ages are spawned quickly, as well. Animals frozen in their tracks would mean it happened just as, or more, rapidly as the flood.
Though, I don't believe in the flood.
