Christians?

Question

Wjy is it so hard for you to take NO for an answer? We atheists have told you guys, at least a billion times that we are not interested in what you believe, so why do you keep asking the same dumb questions, and why do you keep preaching, when we, clearly do not care?
I was like you, and christians drove me to becpme an atheist by stripping EVERYTHING I believed away!


So why do you keep attacking us, all the time! Can't you simply mind your own business, and leave us to ours?

I am a christian and I totally agree with you. We Christians shouldn't push our beliefs on you or anyone else. Christians as a whole tend to be very pushy and preachy, but we should mind our own business and many of us do. (like me) So, just know that there are Christians out there who do mind there own business. I think that a person has a right to believe whatever he wants and that's his business and nobody else's.

true Christians would not attack any body.We are taught not to judge,but To testify in what we believe.But I do not believe in pushing Christianity upon anyone.And once I'm told to back off, I do.It is none of my business who worships what.As long as I do as I feel is right for me.Christians are not suppose to judge u in any form or fashion.We may not believe In The ways of atheist,But We are taught to love each and every single person,Because I would not be able to enter The Kingdom of heaven with hatred in my heart.I am sorry That ppl pushed u so hard that U felt drove away.I can honestly say I have never jumped,judged,yelled,ranted or posted one thing about atheist.I believe In My spirituality and U should have the freedom to believe In what ever U like.I myself am glad to know God and know in my heart for me he is real,and will becoming home soon to get his children.It is not right for anyone to jump u.Fighting over religion,bible,spiritual,etc is wrong.But can I make a small suggestion?If u want Christians to mind their own business,,why post links that say CHRISTIANS? And it sounds as U r actually jumping our religion in ur post.I again can say as long as my heart is right,I am not worried about Ur's.But even if U do not believe I still pray for u.Sorry I know u do not want to hear that,But as Christians we do pray that the unbelievers will find God.I know I'm probably gonna get around 30 thumbs down,But U asked,and I answered.LOL

As long as there is a response there will be a question. You really are not required to answer any question posted. You don't even need to read them. Since this is religion and spirituality, naturally you are going to get some questions on that subject. Sorry if you misunderstood.

sinced you asked I'll answer. I'm sorry that christians have stipped you of any faith you may have had in Christ, but if your faith was in Christ then what people said wouldn't be able to stip you of it, they cannot change what Christ has said.
The reason why it is so hard for us to take no for an answer is the price that God has paid for your soul. We're not just interested in having a bigger number of people claim the title "christian", we're not just trying to be able to brag and say "I won that soul", we are trying to do something on a much larger scale.
The living Word of God came down from heaven, drained himself of all of his glory, became a servant, was accused of blaspheoming his own name, was mocked by the ones who were supposed to be teaching his word, was betrayed by one of his closest friends, and knowingly and willingly allowed himself to be tried by a polotician who cared more about appeasing the people then doing justice, beaten and humbled horribly by pagans who had spit in his Father's name, and hung on a cross at the will of his own chosen people. He decended into hell for three days and three nights. He rose from the dead to prove he had won. He deserves for us to continue to strive for souls.
How can we refuse what he has called us to do? How can we just give up and be silent after He did all of that? How can we just mind our own business when he didn't just mind his while we were all damned to hell?

There are some who don't want to cause suffering by attacking. But in mysterious ways, opposites attract and I am drawn to atheists for reasons beyond my own understanding. Yet I remain christian.

This web site is called "Religion and Spirituality." If you do not believe, then why are you here asking questions? This web site should attack no one. Hopefully it is a place for people to get answers, not insulted.

Hmmm ... do you mean in real life, or in this forum?

Everyone has the right to post pretty much anything they please here. In all fairness, many of the people who ask the same questions over and over AREN'T regulars here, and aren't aware that we have discussions about those things everyday.

If they offend you that much, just stop clicking on them. This forum doesn't belong to one group and one group alone.

well i guess you dont mean me. i dont bother with trying to convince atheists of anything. ive asked "what happened to make you change your mind", "why put God down if you say He dont exsist", and why answer questions for christians dealing with Gods power" but trying to get you to believe in God, nah when He's ready to make Himself known to you He will.
