I personally like the Star of David, but it's taken already.

It looks as if your avatar is your symbol.

well star of david has been taken twice already pagans or wiccans and judaism

umm it would be cool to have a symbol for athiests but it would be like judaism christianity and islam because those are religions

atheism isn't a religion just a way of life unless u r a lavey satanist i guess but then u would just call urself a satanist more than an athiest

but it would be so awsome to have a symbol for atheists

Only if they are organized, which come to think of it, there ARE atheists that are organized. Maybe the symbol could just be a big empty circle, or a big not empty circle. A dot wouldn't do at all, since that would infer a focus of something, whereas a circle would inply nothing.

But the one you have crossing out the word "God" sort of implies a recognition of a god, and that you are against it, so it seems to me that wouldn't work too well.

The upside down crucifix is a symbol of Satanism. Satan by definition is "adversary" so you don't have to believe in the existence of Satan to be an adversary to Christians.

The unicersal hexagram is a Thelemic symbol, though certainly not all atheists are Thelemics.

No. Why would it? It's not as though an individual could ever represent atheists so it's a fairly moot point. You don't join atheism.

All of these attempts to package what is simply a lack of religious belief for sale is pretty humorous.

I like Veal's and Quiet's answers. Ummm, I don't remember what the Go-Bots symbol was, but I'm pretty sure it kicked my face's ***.

Atheism does have a symbol. Walk to the bathroom, look in the mirror. There is the atheist god.
