I'm only 108 lbs. So anything really hits me faster. Even 1 beer! So, my personal opinion, both wine and liquor hits me about the same.

Actually, the saying is "Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker".
I like my wine. I like wine a lot. The liquor is yummy, but I can't drink as much of it as I can the wine. The wine takes longer to make me drunk. lol

Yes. It takes a lot of wine to get me drunk....plus I am not keen on the taste. I much prefer whiskey, it (to me at least) tastes better and get's me drunk faster.
