My new boyfriend and I (of 3 months) are basically glued to one another. I think I may love him, and he has said that he loves me. However, he has to leave for 2 weeks for student exchange. I am simply terrified that he'll just fall out of love with me because we will have zero contact for those 2 weeks. I'm glad that we hace a little break, because they do say that ditsance makes the heart grow fonder. BUT they also say, out of sight out of mind. I'm not afraid that he'll cheat...I'm afraid that he'll come back and not love me anymore...

I know that I should trust him...but you know the feeling! Sometimes you just feel unsure...

Do you think he'll remember me? He has assured me that nothing like him forgetting about me will happen...how much he'll miss me.
What to do to not miss him so much?

-Please answer both to the best of your abilities-

Sweetie, when you love someone, you don't fall out of love because you're not going to be together for 2 weeks or keep in touch... If you love someone, the love will always be there... If you know he's not going to cheat on you, or not worried about that, then why worry that he's going to forget about you or not think of you??? If anything it will make things so much better for the both of you when you do get to be back together (of course when he returns) because it will let you both know how much missing there truly was...

Don't stress yourself out over something you have no control of... hang out w/ your friends, enjoy yourself and keep yourself occupied so that you're not thinking so negative all the time... time will fly by and before you know it, both of you will be back in each others arms... Think positive and wish him a safe and happy flight, let him know that you love him and will be waiting for his return... It will be just fine! Good luck... and remember... think positive!!!

If he really loves you, he'll have no trouble with two weeks. If he doesn't love you, and he's just using you, it's better that you find out three months into dating than six months into engagement. You're lucky.

So to answer your question, if his deeds are as good as his word, he'll miss you like crazy and be ecstatic to see you.

To not miss him so much? Find a book. Try to stay away from romance novels, those won't help. A religious text or a fantasy novel should do nicely.

(Why did I say you're lucky? Because I'm not waiting two weeks, I'm about three weeks into two years for my guy. All I have is letters.)

please. It's two weeks, what if he was in the army or something. If he loves you, he can't fall out of that, if it's real. If you're so unsure, then it's probably not that real to you or him or both of you. Just go with the flow, you two have only been together 3 months. To not miss a guy, keep busy, every second of every day and do stuff that you've missed doing, facials, shopping, nails, etc. Get your girl time in.

:-) It is ok... & if a guy wants to forget you, why wait till at the student's exchange to forget you? :-)

Just trust him & go on with your life. Give him a chance to miss you so that he will be the one keeping in contact with you. :-)

Wow if you forgets you after two weeks, it just aint meant to be! I think you have NOTHING to worry about. If you love him and trust him, before he leaves tell him not to forget you...
