I'm looking to get a small tattoo on the inside of my wrist and want to get a goddess symbol. I first wanted the symbol for Ishtar, the goddess of war, but I'm not crazy about the design. Does anyone know any interesting goddess symbols (with special attention to goddesses of war)?

Some other goddesses besides Ishtar you may want to research are.Athena of Greece, Irish war goddess Morrigan, Anglo-Celtic goddess Andraste, & Roman goddess of war, Bellona. Also you may want to do a search on the Amazons

You could try checking out symbols for Athena. I think Brigid and Freya are also battle goddesses, but I'm not sure.

There is always the symbol of the triple moon )O(, but I don't think that's as much a warrior goddess.

There are several styles of the Lunar Triple Goddess symbol, representing the three aspects of the moon (waxing, waning, and full) and womankind (mother, maiden, crone), as well as the Lady, or Goddess, the feminine polarity of the universe
