I am anemic. Even though I am on iron tablet supplements, I crave the white corn powder of cornstarch. I realize that there is some iron in the starch, probably not enough to help nutritional wise, but I am really fond of the white powder. I eat it by the spoonfuls and have tried to cut back from about 10 spoonfuls to 5 daily. Is there any harm in this habit? I've been with this habit for about 2 1/2 months.

Iron in corn starch? Probably very little to none at all.

1 tablespoon has 30 calories.
You're eating calories with little nutritional benefit.
As long as you don'tt displace healthier foods or consume too many calories, there shouldn't be a problem.

However, try eating an iron rich food in place of the corn starch.
