The cops helpfully suggested something that does not exist: "reform school". There are boarding schools for children with severe behavioral issues, but they are tremendously expensive and in most cases are not covered by insurance. He does, however, sound like he is "a danger to himself or others", which is one criterion for admittance to a psychiatric hospital. In my state (Colorado) police can place a person of any age on a 72-hour "mental health hold" so the person can be assessed.

Possible? Yes. Probable? Who knows! There are, unfortunately, some somewhat crazy people in Christianity (someone once said the problem with Christianity are the Christians). However, Jesus and the Disciples drove out many evil spirits that resulted in healing and such, so yes it is entirely possible that the reason you don't believe is a demon/evil spirit. The problem is, unless you have faith in God, or allow someone CREDIBLE to pray over you, you probably aren't going to know, and I don't know too many atheists that will do this. I do like the method to get him off your property though!

Possessed by evil spirits? No. But most definitely mentally ill, and this sounds like more than ADHD. This child needs serious counseling, as do the parents.

Yeah, that's way more than ADHD. He's a budding conduct disorder. His parents should consider some sort of residential treatment for his safety and the rest of the family.

there are at least 2 accounts in the bible of children being possessed of spirits and Jesus healing them and casting out the spirit! So I do think this is very possible, if you are close enough to the family ask the parents if there is any witch craft in the family on either side! This includes white witches (the ones who only do good things) Like water witching, and pendulum tests, those kinds of things! If there are then it is very likely this child is seriously being tormented from within'. I knew a child like that one time and we would say "sit down and talk to me" and while he was jumping around, and running like crazy he would say "I want to really, but I can't" ! Why not? There is a real problem here I think
also I am a foster parent and I deal with teens like this all the time! There is nothing at all that a boot camp or a facility can do for him except medicate him, isolate him, and scream in his face!!!!! When he gets released he WILL be worse and not only that you will have all the ups and downs from the medication to deal with then

his adhd is nothing to do with the reasons hes doing these things-people should realise that adhd does not mean bad/violent behaviour these are something else-if iwere his parents id be seriously worried for him and indeed them-ps we also have a neighbour who is a nasty piece of work and whose parents blame everything he does on adhd rather than blame it on either bad/learned behaviour/lack of disipline or indeed a mental illness

Yes! I do believe some children are inherently lacking in social skills and behave in ways which are abhorrent to the average person. Evil spirits - no!

I have ADHD myself. What your brother has is in no way what I go through. He has other "issues" and hopefully they will be cleared up by therapy. Your brother does sound"possessed"0_0 though.

There is no such thing as ADHD. Most kids who are diagnosed as having ADHD are just that..brats. They need discipline. Or they are very smart for their age, or there is something else wrong. They could have an underlying medical problem, or a learning disability.

Thats not just ADHD... there's a lot more to it than that I assure you. I don't know but I think I would get another's doctor's opinion about his diagnosis.
