To make fingers look slimmer:
1) File your nails in an oval that mirrors the white crescent of your nail bed or the cuticle.
2) Keep the nails at least 1/4 inch beyond the finger tip. If you have a narrow nail bed, avoid long nails. Narrow long nails will contrast harshly w/ wide fingers.
Stick w/ neutral colors or a French manicure.
Essie's Sugar Daddy is a fool proof, slightly sheer natural pink that will make your fingers look longer.
Essie's Buy Me a Cameo is a pearly taupe that is an easy to wear neutral.
"Fingernails that extend 1/4" past your fingertips make your fingers look a lot longer, slenderizing your hands. Switch to a lighter shade of nail polish. Bright colors stand out and bring attention to nails. Pale shade and neutrals blend better with your skin tone, elongating your fingers.
If your nails are short, lengthen them by applying nail polish on just the center portion of your nails, leaving a sliver of bare nail on either side." http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip495.htm
3) Avoid wearing thin, delicate rings individually or very heavy, thick bands.

Let your nails grow as long as you are comfortable with and shape them to a rounded point rather than the fashionable square cut. Keep using handcream to keep the skin soft and supple. You're lucky to have olive skin - that helps too!

Try acrylic nails or glue ons with a french manicure or dark burgundy hue. You could also let you nails grow out, but in my opinion the fake ones look better.

Put on loads of weight then your hands will look smaller compared to the rest of you.
Or, it's coming up to winter now so you could get slender gloves to wear outside. Sorry, can't think of anything else... I'm sure they're fine though. I can't even remember the last time I took any notice of someone's hands so it's probably just noticeable to you.

I don't know any exercises..but lay off the salt. Salt causes your body to retain water and makes your fingers swell. If you eat a lot of salt this could be the reason for your fingers.. :)

Long nails can be harbingers for bacteria, especially if they are artificial, but they are good for scratching and starting those little foil wrapped containers that will are so hard to get directly into.

Try a nail color that's close to your skin color. Don't wear rings or tight bracelets.
