plasma tvs show more natural color than lcds do they have a more lifelike realistic picture. lcds which usually have aflorecent lamp to light the picture are now staring to come out with led back lights , they can show more natural colors. . dlps are nice but they are rearprojection. and they have their flaws , like limited viewing angle. lamp replacement, and not flat panel. the best flat panel tv is plasma. in the near future you will see 3D tvs , they are not a new type of tv just an added feature where you can watch tv movies or games in 3D. providing youhave a 3D tv. 3D program or game. and glasses. not the red and blue classic classes but more up todate version. looking further into the future you will hear of laser tvs. combined with the dlp sets laser dlps have the ability to show more than two times the natural color that plasmas can produce, providing a much more realistic picture. but to me now plasmas produce the best over all natural picture and best color and black levels. look for panasonic , pioneer , and samsung plasmas. to me and most reviews they are the best brands that produce the best images and reliability. well hoped i helped.

For some people, it is called plasma. Available now.

However, expect to see lots of LCd improvements next year:
120 Hz refresh rates, 10-bit panels (now they are 8-bit), higher contrast, and eventually LED backlight.

In 5+ years OLEDs
