Embarrassing.

A large boil that was on 'my bits'.
Had to get my mum, also a Nurse, to help me as I couldn't quite contort myself that way to see what I was doing and hold a torch to see.

It was done with alchohol swabs and a scalpel.

I was embarrassed to death. All mum could do was laugh!!!! But as she did the totch moved.
Mothers!

I have lanced a boil. It is the draining of a pocket of fluid usually skin related. Can be done with a needle or scalpel.

Yes, I had a cyst lanced on my neck. Of course the Dr. did it, not me.

A blister. It hurt for a bit, but it felt much better after that.
