Its my first dentist appointment with my new dentist and i was wondering if he was actually going to fix the tooth in my mouth today and end this excruciating pain I'm in, or is he going to make me schedule another appointment?? I'm terribly afraid of the dentist and already pre pared myself for the needles today.... Plus I'm going away the first weekend of oct and want it fixed.... Do dentists fix on the same day??

I'm sure he will fix your tooth if in much pain, my dentist always asks me if anything is wrong and if i am then usually he fixes it so im guessing your dentist will fix your tooth

THIS USUALLY DEPENDS ON THE DENTIST AND THE SITUATION.
IF YOU'RE IN PAIN MOST DENTISTS WILL FIX IT THEN, BUT IF IT CAN WAIT UNTIL LATER, IT WOULD BE DONE THEN.

If you scheduled an emergency apt. you will be taken care of. It may not be a permanent restoration though.
