Uh-uh, biking does NOT help your running. If you're doing shorter races,(1 mile, 2 mile, 5k-10k) your long runs should be about double the race distance, and speed works helps ALOT!

practice!!! and pratice!! and also bike about 30 mintues a day trust me ur legs will be strong! lol...and u'll improve ur running in no time
i also heard that swimming improves runnning...
