my daughter has severe head trauma and bites her lip real hard. is there a guard i can put between her lip and gums to keep her from doing this. i can't put anything that can be easily swallowed in her mouth due to a choking hazard.

HELLO MELODY,
WHAT YOUR DAUGHTER NEEDS IS AN N.T.I. BRUXISM APPLIANCE.
WHY?
A COMMON MOUTH GUARD DOESN'T PREVENT BITING AND INJURY ON THE LIPS.
THE NTI WILL PREVENT YOU EVER BITING OF THE OPPOSITE JAWS.
THIS CAN EASILY BE MODIFIED BY YOUR DENTIST TO AVOID SWALLOWING. GOOD LUCK.

how old is your daughter? you can try an athletic mouth guard like they use for football if she's old enough. otherwise you're better off getting something from your dentist
