Spirituallity. This is why I like to include athiests in R and S.

You dont see a lot of S questions.

This isnt about right or wrong. I want to know how you have felt your beliefs in the world.

I occasionally feel the wind whip around me and I feel a very warm fatherly touch to it. It makes me feel better. I have always loved Ravens. Theres a couple more things but they are more personal.

So how do you feel or see God/Odin/Thor/Jesus/Budha/Allah/ Flying spaghetti monster/whoever.

Athiests how do you feel inspired and proud? Do you have anything to say in this?

I will report any one who uses this as a place to insult other religions. So answer the question.

I'm an athiest with a religion, but I'll answer, too.

I feel inspired when I'm left to my own devices. I get bored and pick up a project to fill the time. Or when I spend time with friends and we find something that really excites us. I feel proud when I am happy with how a project turned out, or when I get a lot done.

I have felt it at the Grand Canyon, I have felt it at the ocean; I have felt it during music or when reading something that moves me; I have felt it when I looked into my husband or children's eyes--I feel it as a sense of awe and deep gratitude for the good things that exist in this world, the true and beautiful and free things.

I like your Raven comment--I feel the same way when I see a Cardinal (a red bird we have in my part of the country). It makes me feel happy inside to see one, even though my reasoning might seem silly to others.

Thank you for the unhostile question! I am inspired and proud because I've come to realize that I am a prime form of human being and anyone can come to that same realization. Life is to be enjoyed.

Inspiration usually comes after a few glasses of wine. (wink, wink) because it lowers my inhibitions and I get pretty creative.

When sober, a warm summer night under the full moon, a chilly autumn evening around the campfire with friends (oh, wait, that usually includes wine too!), a snowy winter day snuggling in front of the fire place, and the first sign of spring.

Great question! I see spirit and our connection to it (spirituality) in all things. I see it in the sunrise, the moonlight, the trees swaying in the breeze. Light shining on water, birds coming in to roost at night. All of the various forms of life that out earth mother supports. And I see my connection to the divine in the eyes of my children. I'm a pagan.

I guess I feel inspired when I see beauty. What Christians and other religions see as proof of god I see nature running it's course and it's amazing. I feel invigorated by it.

Also human accomplishments. Just amazing.

I'm a Wiccan, so I see the Goddess and God in just about everything. I see them in all their aspects in the cycles of life.
