I went to see my therapist this morning and he's upset with me in regards to me speaking with someone on line, he thinks I'm going to have/suffer consequences for this, I disagree. Later we got talking about my week end which he also thinks is being "risky" and to some degree he's right on that, he knew when I left his office I was holding back something about this coming week end that can be very self destructive, later I called to confirm an appt. for a PAI test tomorrow and asked if I could speak to him about this.. he said no. I ran out of time today in his office and now the weekend is coming and I don't see him until Monday, what do I do, I'm desperate now.. I've cut up my arm pretty bad just in anger and frustration, and I need to spill the beans before it's too late..Help, please be serious, I'd appreciate it.. Thanx

Sweetie, I wish you didn't feel like you have to punish yourself! And the "something" that could be destructive hasn't happen yet, so you can change the future now. Do you have the most qualified therapist for you? He doesn't seem very savvy on human behavior. And if he thought you were holding back something detramental to your well being, he should've listened to you when you called later. And you really need to be careful about people on line, and even us, ok? But know some of us really do care, but always be cautious.

How long have you been going to this person? I would think by now, that you wouldn't be cutting yourself, or at least knowing why you do it...so you are self punishing yourself, for the anger you have towards others?..no need to punish yourself sweetheart...He sounds like a non caring person to me. You are a 31 year old woman, and it depends on what you are talking about, where you met them, etc...I think it sounds like to me, you need a different doctor, who really, truly cares.

Please take your therapist advice. your planning on something that could hurt you very badly this weekend and this is not a good plan! You already are trying to deal with all of this and cut your arm , take care of that first and do not take the risks of getting even more hurt!
