No. You can't even get the FIRST one for free. You have to go down (or write) to the city hall where you were born, and pay the fee. A certified copy is usually around $15, and a non-certified copy is usually around $2.

Not for free.

Go on line- do an search in the county you were born in. You should be able to find a link the the Register of Deeds. They will have the address where to send your written request and fee. It may be about $10.00. You will need to know your date of birth, mothers maiden name and fathers name.

You're not going to get a copy for free. As the last responder mentioned, expect to pay $7 to $10 for a certified copy.

The following web site gives you links for each state that will explain where and how to get a copy of your birth certificate (depending on state of birth). Costs are usually listed, too.

For free? No.

You write to the state capital in the state where you were born, the department of vital records.

It takes about 6 to 8 weeks. It's cheap, usually about $10 to $15.

If you have a fire Insurance policy which covers your home and contents and you have taken cover regard to any expenss for damage or lost of your spcial documents such as Birth Certificate the policy would cover the cost for a replacement one.so you would be able to get a replacement one without any additional fee if you have already taken appropriate level of insurance cover.

I doubt it will be free. Nothing is free these days! You need to contact the Social Security office, in the State you were born, and they can issue you a new one. I recall, a minimum fee though.

I don't think so. Most state custodians of official records will require a fee of $5 to $10 to issue a certified copy.

not free. You will have to go thru your state dept. of vital statistics ( I'm in Texas) you have to do this in person with required I.D and pay a fee around 10.00, then wait and it comes over their fax. It took about an hour.

free? why is it everyone wants the world handed to them on a platter? no----I doubt you'll get anything FREE.

but if all else fails......write to where you were born...and go through the steps they tell you to do. more than likely you may get a new cetificate for a few small $$$...mine was $20 for a duplicate...and I was standing in the courthouse in my own home town......

good luck anyway....
