Tend to be the people who spit in the face othe the people who supply them the freedom they enjoy.

San Fran is without a doubt the most liberal place on the planet. I am not jsut talking politiacal affilation here. I am talking life style. They exercise freedoms that people from other countries could only dream of. they take freedom to the limits which is OK, but to then spit in the people's face who provide the freedom they enjoy I think is going too far.

They target the military with their hate and single them out and treat them like dirt. They want people to respect their veiws and yet calling themselves liberal they are some of the most close minded people I have ever seen.

I think we should pull goverment funding from them as punishment for their discrimination of our military. If they did the same to blacks or women we would be outraged why do we allow them to do it to our military.

Captain Corrales and several other Marine veterans came to the Film Commission Monday afternoon. They see this as just the latest insult along with the city blocking the USS Iowa from docking here, banning the junior ROTC from high schools, and trying to ban the yearly Blue Angels air show.

Captain Greg Corrales commands the police traffic bureau that works with crews shooting commercials, TV shows and movies in the city. He's also a Marine veteran and his son is serving his third tour of duty in Iraq.

He says Film Commission Executive Director Stefanie Coyote would only allow the Marine's production crew to film on California Street if there were no Marines in the picture. They wound up filming the empty street and will have to superimpose the Marines later.

David go feed your blogney to someone who is hungry. If you guys really cared about our troops you would treat them with a little repsect instead of using them as a slogan to get your guy in next election.

by the way I served in the USMC in Iraq and I can say I don't feel I have the support of the liberal people in america. I feel like it is lip service when they say anything

David we only have 30k troops there (if that number is correct not for sure) becuase other countries have troops there.

I guess they didnt oppose that war becuase they didnt have oil contracts that they would lose if they went to war against them and also the UN president didnt have to worry about messing up his son's money making ability in the oil for food scam

Well said. The only real support you got was from conservatives who wanted you and still want our troops to succeed in victory. The liberals are invested in defeat in that they want the troops removed before the completion of the mission. Don't buy into this phony "support the troops" garbage they spout. Empty words that ring hollow. Liberals have always loathed the military.
Geoff, from an ex-USAF guy who served about a million years ago, a big thank you for serving your country!!!!!
Semper fi and carry on.

This isn't a question that you have asked. It is an opinion you are supplying. I'm not sure what made you think this was the appropriate platform for your thoughts.

As long as I am writing this however, I will address your concerns.

I agree with what I believe to be your main point here. Way too many American citizens take freedom for granted. But we also take MANY other things for granted like big cars, blue collar jobs that pay salaries comfortable enough to allow for middle class life, excellent security nets, and regulating agencies that protect the majority of citizens to name a few.

The thing I take issue with the most however, is that you (and many others like you) assume that these freedoms and privileges are things that need to be earned and NOT taken for granted. Every living person deserves to live with the right to express an opinion, obtain information by whatever means necessary, practice a religion of choice.

Also, just keep in mind that it is YOUR CHOICE to join the military and sacrifice your life. There is no longer a draft system (though there should be so that a broader range of citizens in this country can better appreciate the effects of a war). Everyone has the ability (to some extent) to choose what to do with his/her life. I can't stand people who act as if they deserve more respect as a human being than everyone else because they CHOOSE to put their lives on the line. I know you can't either.

I respect those who serve in the military, I appreciate what they do, I support them as best as I know how, but I disagree with the overall policies which have constantly placed them in a position that forces them to put their lives on the line. No mother, child, brother, sister, daughter or friend should have to go through that.

I hope I have 'answered' your 'question'. Good luck and God bless.

So many Necks, too few trees, and not enough rope to solve the problem. Is that It?
Beating the PISSANDVINEGER out of them will not work. It's lost on them ignorant Aholes.
They think Freedoms a right that don't have a price. Freedom is that has been paid for in blood of Americans since its birth. This is the price of your rights.
We know Freedom's not Free. Some of us have put ourself out there. We know the Cost is very high. But we'ed do it all over, Cause we love our Freedom.

they are all about the hypocrisy, and then they don't even have the guts to admit it.

It's like dealing with bratty kids, if you tell them they are doing something wrogn they will call you a facist, or claim the 1st ammendment allows, which is fine if it's something that crosses over the line of freedom speech, hate speech, like they do with the president, also slander, or treasonist comments then they try to cover it up by saying they are questioning the government, you can question the government without saying slanderous statements and crossing that line, but they don't realize that.

Yes, I have noticed the same thing. The people who love and exercise their right to be a ******* moron are the same ones who endlessly ***** about the men and women who fight to ensure they keep that right. I wish shooting morons was not considered murder. It should be considered gene control or something.
