Karl D, I tend have 3 main meals everyday. I do snack in between if I feel hungry though. Things like fruit, nuts and granola bars.
I haven't undertaken a really strict weight-loss regime, just cutting down on high-fat, high-calorie stuff.
Thanks for the answers so far everyone!

A cup of vinegar is only about 35 calories, so used in normal amounts it will have little effect on your diet. It does not of course promote weight loss.

Emilie, you need to know that even vinegar becomes sugar in the final stage in our bodies.
Depends how you are using vinegar in your prepared food.
Both balsamic, apple or normal vinegar have the same metabolism in the body.
There is only one way where vinegar really helps lose weight, but increases the risk of intoxication by acidity, and low blood pressure, it is when you drink ONCE every other day, half a glass of WARM water mixed with 3 big spoons of vinegar over NOT MORE THAN 3 weeks, and NO breakfast.
Do not forget that the first effect of vinegar in the body is to drop immediately the temperature, and speed down the metabolism.

It is not only good when you are dieting but it gives you an advantage. The vinager slows down your digestion and keeps you full longer.
There is a couple of calories in it but it is very minimal.
The more important this is are you eating 5 small meals? This increases you metabolism (how much energy you body burns doing nothing)
Do you eat breakfast at home?
(studies show people who eat breakfast away from home are the heavist)
Do you life weights? (for each pound of muscle on your body you burn 50 calories a day.)
Do you drink soda? 12 teaspoons of surgar in each can?
The trick is to educate yourself. Find out what works for you. Remember don't try to diet as much as try and develop healthy eating habits that you can stick to for life, and get some exercise!
Good luck

Vinegar is great! Zero Calories, usually - and the ones where there are calories - it's very few. Also, I've read somewhere that vinegar helps control your blood sugar levels.

Certainly. You can use as much vinegar as you want when on a diet. There are no calories or fat involved at all.
