I want something that is light and non-greasy, yet which will give me adequate protection against sunburn that I'm prone to.
If possible, please mention the cost of it, too.
Can I use it on my body as well?

Banana Boat faces. I used it while canoeing for 8 hours and I didn't burn at all. Everyone else did though - they used other stuff. Even though it says faces, don't worry about it. It works great all over the body. If you want, regular banana boat works great too. About $6-7 a bottle.

My favorite is Oil-Free Coppertone in either SPF 15 or SPF 30 formulas. It is oil-free and unscented so it won't clog pores or irritate even the most sensitive skin. You can even use it on your face and you won't break out! It's about 10 bucks at the Wal-Mart.
