I support him because he the man in charge. Kind of hard to understand if there is so many people who dislike him then how did he win two presidential elections. And if he indeed stole the first one how did he get away with it. It is hard to not at least respect a guy that was tough enough to go into the middle east even if his reasons was wrong. Speaking for myself, I did not join the military to get a pat on the back from our commander in chief. I don't see exactly how he does not care about us when he knows if we leave Iraq now we are jst going right back. Now I am not saying I am in total love with the guy or even like his policies. I think sometimes he means well. But to be honest it is hard not to support the man who's in charge.

As compared to how well the Democrats and Liberals support the military and veterans?? It is to laugh!

Boy, have you got your head screwed on backwards. The Democrats & liberals have done everything they possibly could to destroy our military over the years, but now they wanna act like they support the veterans? Please!!

Anybody with any memory at all knows better than to believe that hogwash.

You're movement is slipping huh? made evident by all the recent back pedaling by your candidates on the war. not one that matters said they would bring the troops home. Guess Hillary and Obama don't care either huh?
I suggest you all just keep up the" Move on speak". It will win the election for the Republicans. Just like Micheal Moore helped win the election for Bush. He did more FOR Bush then anyone.
YOUR hate will only take you so far.

Because those veterans know more than you do, and you can't put words in their mouth. I find it funny how people very disconnected from the war and military can assume to know so much, and yet those serving and connected with the military see things completely differently. If they were such victims, then why have they historically given presidents and the military undying support?

UH, Don't confuse respect with support. The President, Bush is also known as Commander in Cheif. DUH! I bet you don't support the troops either. When is the last time you thanked a veteran or someone serving? Sadly, it's been 2 weeks since I thanked someone outside of my imediate family who serves. Thanks to ALL who have served and are serving!

That's a bunch of lies. My friend works for the VA, and she says the care is top notch.

Old buildings, etc., did not deteriorate in the past 3 years.

I agree, they get brainwashed when they enlist & continue to get brainwashed while there . if bush supported the troops, he'd take some of that war money & use it to improve conditions at Walter Reed. He spends trillions on the war & nothing on the warriors who were casualties of the war.
