You can try a vitamin to give you an extra boost, I take One a Day Women All Day Energy and I think they are great. But your body is still adjusting, you should be napping when he naps and resting whenever you can. When he starts to sleep more throughout the night your patterns will go back to normal and you will feel more rested. Don't make yourself dependant on caffiene either, the withdrawls could be horrible, and you will feel worse. Improve your diet, excercise if you can, and take a vitamin. Good Luck!

It usually takes right about 6 weeks to start feeling like a human again. I just had my 2nd girl on June 22 and started back to work on July 23rd. It was tough the first few weeks of work but I made it. You will stop feeling so blurry minded and start to think like a normal person again very shortly. Congrats by the way.

Sorry to say sometimes it doesn't happen for awhile! Because you are sleep deprived and will be for a while that makes the energy part of it very hard. As long as you are not getting straight sleep due to having a baby who eats through the night it will take awhile.
Good luck and congratulations on your baby

You will get it back about 2wks after he moves out!!! You will be exhausted until he starts sleeping through the night. You will be surprised at how great a whole 4 hours of sleep will feel!!! Just enjoy the time and try to nap when baby does!!

in about 20 years :oD
no seriously it varies from woman to woman but most women usually gain back more energy after their babes start sleeping through the night, or at least most of the way through the night..that way mum can get much needed sleep as well

Took me about 22 years....lol
When the baby is 6-12 weeks probaby, especially as he will start sleeping longer at night around then.....
any surgery gives you 6 week recovery and after birth, your body has been through a lot.....
Be well, get rest....

Give yourself some time. You will feel better by the time that you go back to work. Try and get sleep, excercise and take your vitamins. Eat well, all these things should help.

Impatient, just a tad, aren't we? I would suggest you allow a little more time to enjoy being a new mother with your beautiful child.
There will be plenty of time for you to get back into "work mode." Once there, you may be complaining that you wish you had more time with your child.

Have your doctor check your iron level it might be low and this could cause fatigue. Make sure you are still taking your prenatal pills this will also help your problem. you should be ok in another week or two.
