Such as cleaning, washing dishes after dinner, helping with homework, any ideas would help.

My best advice is to just sit down with him and have a talk. Tell him that you're having a really hard time getting everything done, and that you're feeling very stressed. Tell him that you really need some time for your self once in a while but you dont usually get any "me" time because you're so busy keeping up with the house and the family.

If the reason that you are seeking help from your husband (who, in my beliefs, should be helping anyways) is so that you could have some time to yourself - maybe you can assign him two nights a week. On these two nights he will be responsible for most of the things that you are responsible for every day. (Kids, homework with the kids, dinner, dishes, getting the kids to bed)..and these two nights could be used for you to do whatever you want (go out with a friend, sit down in a quiet room and read - etc...)

OR you could make a list of chores that you do on a daily basis, and ask him to pick several of them to do each day. For example, if you cook dinner, do the dishes, do homework with the kids, give the kids a bath, get the kinds into bed...you might ask that he pick two of the things from your list to do.

Giving him only two or three things per day (that he gets to pick which ones) might help because he wont feel overwhelmed with too many things, yet you'll have some taken off of your sholders.

Good luck.

Uh, have you ever talked to him about it?

If so, what did he say?

Without those kinds of details, it's hard to advise you.
