Your freedom from the Kaisers and Hitlers tyranny bought and paid for by the blood of the Americans Europeans look down at. But then folks over there through their inaction allowed two world wars to occur on the continent in 50 years. Sadly we've not been able to teach them that sometimes the wiser course is to remove the dictator. I'd have thought they'd have learned but then in the 80's they let the atrocities in Serbia go unchecked.

Freedom from the Nazis and avoidance of the loss of freedom under the Bolsheviks. Look around Europe. Everyone under the age of 35 is wearing a t-shirt, denim trousers and athletic shoes. An entire continent's young people have adopted the American way of dress and we didn't have to do that with forces of arms.
