awe you cant let your mum down it will mean so much to her ?you could get a credit card and pay monthly but don't get into debt too much or get a loan from the bank also see what you can sell to raise a bit of money take care and enjoy

First of all, before you go nuts and start thinking of how to pay for it, you need to call the cruise line and see if they have availability. These things sell out months in advance. I bet they would be full. Sorry to say it.

While you're on the phone with them you can ask about payment plans, but honestly you're probably out of luck. I wouldn't recommend putting it all on a credit card but of course that's how plenty of people pay for things nowadays.

This doesn't look like it will work out for you. I would just throw a small party for your mom when she gets back.

Why can't you just put it on a credit card and then pay it when you get back.

Call your banker for a personal loan.

Or - give up the surprise idea.

Which is more important - surprising your mom or just being there for her?
