Is this an appropriate gift for a Seventh Day Adventist family?

My son's girlfriend is SDA and will be here for Christmas. I wanted to send back a gift for her family, as we have met them before.

I was raised Baptist, so am unsure of all and what SDAs believe. I have a general idea, but lawys like to ask. Wouldn't want to offend future in laws!

Adventists, like Baptists, are first and foremost Christians. While there are differences of opinion on some doctrinal issues (as an example, like many Baptists, Adventists do not drink alcohol, nor do we smoke; Adventists additionally follow the principles of clean and unclean foods (Lev. 11) and refrain from such things as pork products and shellfish; additionally as our name implies, we believe in the second coming of Christ and worship on the seventh-day (Saturday)), a Christian emblem is a very thoughtful and considerate gift, and emphasizes the faith in Christ as our personal savior that all Christians have in common.

I am a SDA, and I don't think that would be a problem. I'm sure they would be grateful.

Well they believe if you worship on sunday you are taking the mark of the beast. they dont believe in jesus so why celebrate xmas

if you are worried about it, why dont you just them a gift basket, something non-religious
