I never ask Jesus for anything , if I have a problem I handle it myself. I must be stronger than all of you.

Because they like to pretend there is something else to blame, to cause things, to fix it with little effort themselves.
Guess it boils down to laziness! To fix your own problems means you have to get off your **** and take care of yourself!

Well, to be quite honest......we can't always solve our own problems......God is the Master Solver. We all need a little hope in our lives.....and Jesus gives some people that hope. And it is not a matter of being stronger than someone....it is a matter of being willing to accept the fact that we as human beings cannot fix everything in our lives. One question for you my good sir........Can you Save yourself from dying......answer me that.........because I see that as quite a problem.....and only Jesus can fix that one.

You yourself said my friend. You are a stronger person than the average men of faith. However, there is nothing wrong with praying and asking for help. God may not necessarily give you what you are asking for, but He will help you with what you need.

When you solve your "problem" do you not read books, ask advice or seek medical help? As a Christian we do the same. We ask God for guidance to help us find the answer Sometimes it comes easy sometimes not. He is my Father and Creator. Would you not ask your father for advice? I believe I am a stronger person having given my life to Christ. For I am not alone I have the power of the Almighty God with me everyday.

You think? Or maybe you're just more stubborn in your refusal to ask for help. We DO solve our own problems; we just get help since we realize we are not self-sustaining. There is strength in knowing when you need to ask for help and in taking it when it is offered. Perhaps you have a self-esteem issue and you need to prove yourself all the time. Sad.

Everyone wants to have a father-figure solve their problems for them. SOME people are strong enough to resist that temptation and solve their own problems, but most are not.

Right. People should solve their own problems without having to check their spelling.

And how's that working out for you? I ask God because I have found I am not as smart as I thought I was , all I did was screw my life up. I ask him now because he knows the future and he knows what is best for me in the long run, while I only thought in the short term. And yes he does answer me.

I will admit it: I am weak. I cannot do everything. I do not know everything.

Ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door will be opened.

Humans know things only partially, whereas God sees fully.
