You EARN your nickname. Get a few fights (10 or so) under your belt before you start asking people about your nickname. If you're good then people will start ascribing a nickname to you. You may like it or you may not but it will be the one that best describes you from what people have seen.
Good luck with your career. I hope your left hand turns into a terrific weapon for you in the ring.

What do they call you in the gym? Surely, somebody is already using your nickname and you just haven't noticed.
If not try....El Machete. When someone asks you about your name, just hold up your left hand. Imagine the dramatic picture you will paint. You will be hard to forget if you use your hand injury to your advantage. Heck get a temporary tatoo of a machete prior to the fight.

Definately go with a pirate thing, "Y'argghhh!!!". Instead of going in on one hand or with a fancy prostetic, hook it up with a foam rubber Gwar style hook. You could have a long pirate coat instead of a boxing robe. You could sew a fake parrot on your shoulder, get a yellow mouth piece with some black spots so it looks like f'ugly teeth. Grow a "handle bar" moustache, get a big pirate hat and an eye patch. It may be hard to box with one hand, but you'll be fun to watch. As for a nick name, go with something like "Captain Jabsalot", or you could pretend you come from Butte, Montana and be the "Butte Pirate". Good luck with that, tell me when you fight, I want to watch that sh(t. Your catch line after you win should be, "If you could see what finger I want to put up at you you wouldn't think you are so F'ing cool".

In this corner is the man with the 84 inch reach with 44 inches on the right side & 40 inches on the left side ....the one & only " MISSING LINK " !.....or " MANOS MENOS " or since you are apparenty brave enough to box with a disability how about : " CAJONES GRANDES " ??

I got my nickname after my first pro bout, you deep within yourself and the label will jump out at you stop trying to name yourself for now and concentrate on your first match. It may come to ya while training as mine did, I fought 13yrs as a world class boxer 3 time title contender. So you get your grind on in the gym , and start preparing for your next fight.
