There are just as many good and bad atheists as there are religious people. In fact many religious people are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.

Zero. They frequently try to sink Christian beliefs, but their own beliefs float like a lead ball. They ridicule us Christians by calling us superstitious fools. They boast of their reliance on 'reason' and 'logic,' but fail to use them when discussing religion. When they say, "I prefer to think for myself" they really mean "I don't want God telling me what to think." They act like intellectual bullies by ganging up on simple Christians, but cannot withstand counter-attacks from an educated Christian who can defend himself or herself and the Bible from all comers.
The internet has made them even more brazen, because they can safely shout offensive statements. I encounter many such people, and I am convinced that most of them are atheists because they don't WANT to believe in God, not that they sincerely think that God doesn't exist.
They snicker at our faith, but it takes very little faith to believe that God made this world. It takes enormous faith, however, to believe that everything we see around us today is the result of natural selection, random chance, and mutation. I can never have that much faith.
