The motivation to be sexually active can be a number of things. Hormones, desire for ones partner, love.

What influences someone would be peer pressure, past sexual abuse, pressure from their partner.

Get it. It's the difference between genuinely WANTING to do something verses doing something because you thought it was what you are supposed to do or doing something because you were pressured.
