Will TSA, those $9/hr dictatorous douche bags, let my homemade lunch consisting of a salad and a wrap on the plane?

Just so we're all clear, it will probably weigh more than their damn 3oz.

Well...that will depend. More than likely, with it being homemade, no they won't. They *might* if you don't include any salad dressing with it. However, if you buy a salad and wrap, or...whatever once you get past security, then there shouldn't be a problem bringing it on the plane...well, unless it's a beverage, that is not in a bottle (Fountain beverages...not such a good idea).

You can, however, get a complete list of what is/isnt allowed at tsa.com or you used to be able to.

The Salad and wrap are not liquids or gels. The dressing for the salad might be, but you're not going to have more than 3 oz of that, right?

You should be fine to do this, as long as any dressing is either already applied to the salad or in your ziplock bag.

And if you buy a beverage AFTER going through security, you can take it on the plane. No problem a this point. I do it all the time

The 3oz doesn't apply to weight, it's liquid oz.
Your salad wrap should be OK, unless your traveling international, in which case you would not be allowed to bring food into another country usually.

If you're carrying your salad dressing separate, as long as that's under the 3oz limit, you should be fine. The rest is solid.

It should be OK. Just don't bring any thing like that back in through customs if you are going international. P.S. You need Valium or less coffee or something. Do you realize how petty your whining is?
