This is actually a real math problem from my text book and I just wanted to see how many people could figure it out. I was never good at math so of course I had problems understanding how they came to their conclusion.

It's confusing I know! LoL. I'm getting married in April and now all of a sudden I'm obsessed with what our kids will be. My fiancee' got off easy he's half Italian half Irish so no big deal, but I'm half Italian than I'm also German, Irish, and English. That's the confusing part.

They will be three quaters (3/4 or 75%) Italian. You take whatever nationality or race the parent is, and divide that in half for the child... and thats the amount the child will have.

So Full Italian parent = 1/2 for child. Half Itailian parent = 1/4 for child. Take that 1/2 + 1/4 and you have got 3/4 Italian.

Your children would be 75%. Half from your husband which is 50% and 25% from you = 75%.

75% if half of you is 100% that's 50% and the other half is 50% thats 25%, so total is 75%
