I interviewed for a sales position on Aug. 28th and they told me they would be in touch. I called back a week later and they said they would be making their decision that week. After not hearing back from them a week later, I emailed them with no response back. What should I do now?

If I was you I would wait till they get back to me. Don't over do it because it may back fire. They might lie to you and tell you that they hire someone because you showing sign of desperation. It depends on the job however some people loose jobs because they over do it, when it come to following up.

What you should do is continue job searching else where. In case this one doesn't come through.

Since they said they'd be making a decision, I'd assume that they chose someone else. It happens sometimes. Although companies are trying to save time by not giving a personal "no" answer to employees, it sucks when you are trying to figure out what your chances are. They should've at least been in touch to let you know when they'd be making a decision, but this is not unusual behavior; usually, you will have to do the follow up work. Cut your losses and continue to look for more work. Who knows, maybe you can find a more reliable company.

I'd just wait it out. They usually give info like that so not to have any legal troubles. Start looking around for more jobs. If they do get back to you, great. If not, hopefully you'll have other interviews lined up.
