old report, discredited data and reporting methods. Nothing new. Same old Propaganda. Next please. By the way, they sure were happy on tv to be rid of Saddam when it happened.

If the Iraqi military were to come in for the betterment of my countries people and were actually making an attempt to help us out without forcing things down our throats or killings us if we didn't follow thier agenda and were peaceful, then yes I would see them as liberators.
If there were people like the insurgents that are using violence to try and stop any good coming to our countries well-being because it goes against the way they believe religiously, or if there were insurgents that are offing our own country men just because they were of a different lineage, then yes. I would like to see someone walking around on patrols all the time. I would want all the help possible.
But that will never happen. I love my country the way it is, and I'm sure that most of the people in our coutry would also say that they would not want it to change to what the Iraqis or anyone else want to live.

Guess what? Your Avg. Policeman in the USA is about as popular in most Neighborhoods. And if I lived under the repression like folks in Burma have today or Saddam had, I'd be thowing rose petals....
Your question some how is based on the belief that the Insurgents are just freedom fighters or something? Trying to stop a Occupation? That is dead wrong. The primary targets of these sob's have been the IRaqi people. Just the other day they killed a bunch of old people waiting in a line for some food. These guys have no ideals of freedom of opressed, making the lights stay on, or even formng a government. THEY JUST WANT TO KILL PERIOD! SO what you and you other Yahoo! Libs fail to grasp is that the people of those neighborhoods now see we are the good guys & have joined us in helping to rid they areas of guys who set bombs & make their lives hell. So take this happy horseshit about occuppation back to Columbia Univ. or what ever dumbass school that is pushing this crap.....

This is such a stupid question. You point being how can we expect people of Iraq to accept the US presence if we wouldn't do the same? Are you in high school? This is such a simple way of thinking for a very complex issue.
Also look at reports that are from other sources than the major media. You will find that the Iraqi people want us there. Of course except the insurgents trying to take it over themselves.

An IRAQI military invading the US would have to be headed by an aggressive madman like Saddam. Assuming someone like Saddam the first folks the invaders would jail and execute would be the liberal element of this country. so--if the liberal elements within America had so weakened this country that we could be occupied by the IRAQI's then probably wait until all the liberals were exectued and then rise up and throw em out.

you might need to put the question more clearly for some people try asking
If Iraq was behind your being ruled by a cruel tyrant for 30 years then because your oppressor had lost their favour you had sanctions placed on your country which resulted in at least a million deaths mostly children , but because they got impatient they accused you of having the weapons that they sold you (the ones they took your money for but made you get rid of)they then invaded your country (killing more people in 3 months than the dictator did in 30 years) and due to this invasion 2 million of your people were now refugees, every one was short of clean water you had only a couple of hours of electricity a day, people were starving and you couldn`t leave your house and be sure you would live to return,
would you welcome the Iraqis as your liberators
Yes i`m positive anyone would .

seems you have nothing but idiots answering your question. the answer is the only persons that said we would be liberators is bush and cheney and his pals. Nationalism makes it so any military in another country with a premptive strike will not be greeted as anything but an occupying force. History proves that. Mission accomplished was bushies battlecry 4 years ago.

If the political situation in America was such that it was in Iraq, I would expect the American people to stand up and take care of the problem. If they were unable to do so then I would accept help from an outside nation. My problem with Iraqi soldiers would be more of their ethical and religious beliefs than in their nationality.

Hell no, I would grab a gun, slingshot, or whatever else I could to defend myself. So how can we fault those "insurgents" who are doing the same? I hate like hell that our brave troops are mired in such a train wreck caused by this immoral president we are stuck with. God bless them all for their dedication, service, and sacrifice.

No, I would probably become an insurgent and try to kill as many as possible. Kinda like they are doing over there.

If we had been oppressed for 30 years, seen our brothers, sisters and children mass murdered at the whim of a dictator or his sons, had family members pressed into military service to illegally invade a neigbor to steal their oil, and invade another neighbor because we simply hate their religion and this dictator was using gas and biological weapons on groups of people he didn't like - I'd be happy to have the aid of a foreign nation in place to stop him and his cronies.
