I lived in the American Housing in Kitzingen Germany called Marshall Heights as a kid (my dad was in the Army). I'm trying to research the area and get some impressions by people that lived there as well. I was there in the early 80's. I would love to hear from people that were there around the same time and possibly get some pictures you may have of the area. I lived in building 241 L-1 for 3 years when I was in 3rd to 6th grade. Please help if you can...maybe we knew each other.

Kitzingen and surround Areas closed last year. Wurzburg is on the chopping block now....soon to be closed. All the Kaserns in the Area have been turned over to the Germans and it's still up in the air as to what will happen to them. Nobody can get on any of the Kaserns other than Wurzburg without proper authority.
Reason all were closed is due to Realignment of the Kaserns. It's sad, really....they were so much better than where we're at now.....
Also, you might want to do a search for the Area in whatever search engine you use...

Hi.....I lived in Building 306 L 3 in Marshall Heights from 1972 until 1974 or 75. I had the best times there....recently joined a fb group with wonderful pictures and memories.

Lived in Kitzingen1 Worked at the Child Development Center that was in the Marshall Heights area. There used to be a great gift shop in the MH area too.Think it was near the shopette Loved all my time that I spent in Germany!

I and my four sisters lived in marshal heights. 1976 -1979 maybe 1980
I use to deliver the news paper ... And I lived by the DYA. Later called AYA
I remember ther was a person that sold gummies and bro hen rolls best time of my life let s find others ..!!!

was stationed in Kitzingen 79-81 at Division Data Center on Larson. lived both in barracks and off post was a great place.
