this week pudding media started a BETA program that you need to sign up for that will give you FREE PC to landline telephone calls... it is ad supported... they use voice recignition software to provide ads on your PC about things that you are talking about

that is the answer everyone else was tring to answer... however, your question is PHONE to PHONE....
most landline and VoIP carriers have plans for unlimited USA and CAN calling... but to make free landline to free landline, you would need to find a free public phone (there are not many around.. but some companies are replacing payphones with free public phones with 3 minutes of free calling sponsored by large billboards on the phones)

I don't know about from computer to computer. but we have All-tel, and really do like it. We have a regular monthly rate, but we can make unlimited phone calls anywhere in the United States. We also have free information service (411). They will go ahead and put you through. You don't have to dial again. I would recommend them to everybody. It is a good company. Grams
