"But whenever their heart shall turn to the Lord the veil shall be taken away
Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the SPirit of the Lord is there is freedom" 2 Cor 3:16-17.
There is the Lord who is able to address any matter in our being. Be it our temper or our lusts...our laziness or whatever it is dear..
There seem to be many young women who come out of christian homes who have been bombarded with these kind of thoughts from the enemy. Over the years there has been such an onslaught and rising of this trend of bisexuality. There is a young sister that I try to take care of who struggles in this way. She had an abusive situation and turned her mind off from the opposite sex. This was the avenue that satan took to fill her mind with the thoughts that she desires women instead of men.
Deep in her being she knows that this is something that does not match and line up with the Word of God that she reads. But I am so encouraged by her because she has opened and turned her heart to the Lord.. asking Him to deal with this matter. The veils on her mind's eyes that saw this matter as something normal and acceptable in this satanic worldly system were gradually lifted. She saw this matter for what it was... that she needed the Lord to work on her from the inside out.
Only a genuine work from the Lord can adjust this way of viewing sexuality dear one. I am NOT in any way trying to tell you that there is no way that you can be someone who is a christian and not become trapped in this snare. I have seen it happen and know it to be a fact. The subtle enemy seeks any avenue and seeks any way to steal us.. kill and destroy us.
The Lord created you to love Him. In loving Him as your first Love, He will be able to work your sexuality matter out . Just take it one day at a time.. Take the word in inwardly.. Feed in the Word and the Lord in you will grow and spread and BOOT anything of satan out. Out of your thoughts.. your desires.. your intentions..your choices.
Satan is cunning and always seeks to stumble us so that we will completely MISS the Lord's second coming.
I hope that many of the genuine believers on here will bear you up in prayer.
Sometimes if our veil before our eyes is polkadots.. we think that the whole world is dotted.. that THIS is normal.. but once the veils are taken away.. we see with unveiled face (2 Corinthians 3:18)
But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord are being transformed into the same image from Glory to glory even as from the Lord Spirit"
Lets keep all the dear brothers and sisters in prayer

Here's the thing: All unmarried Christians are called to chastity. All of 'em; gay, straight, and bi. And married Christians are called both to fidelity, and allowing their union to be open to new life if such is the will of God. In a nutshell, these are the basics when it comes to sexuality.
That's not to say everyone succeeds at this calling, in fact most of us struggle with it at many times in our lives, but it's what is asked of us nevertheless. When it comes to the sin of fornication, it's wrong to single out non-heterosexual folks as "worse" -- it is all the same whether as a married woman I have an affair, or my single sister sleeps with someone (anyone).
Seeing that this is the situation, the only judging a Christian should be doing when it comes to sexuality is when he or she looks in the mirror -- and that is more properly an examination of conscience than judging, which is the Lord's prerogative and His alone.

There is an old saying, guys like girls, and so do the girls. Was it always this way? I don't know, maybe...after all, when the men were out warring and on the hunt, who did the women have to comfort each other---other women. The word lichentious comes into play here too--which means sexually unrestrained. Not sleeping around is being disciplined, so she isn't being lichentious. Who she sleeps with is strictly none of our business. She has to answer to the God of her understanding. This little essay is one of the reasons why I like being a Christian. I get to accept others for who they are without judgement. There is so much emotional freedom in that, and yet the exploration of it all and how it effects me can be so passionate. Whew. Thanks kid, your question was a good one.

SPARKLES, do you love your fellow beings? Care for those in need? Do your best not to judge others? From what I have heard on this site, you do all of these things. If that's the case then you are doing a wonderful job following the examples Christ set for you. Don't listen to those who would judge you. They may well be farther off course than any they would judge. Christ said nothing about homosexuality. He spoke volumes about love.
Keep being who you are.

I'm a Christian gay man and I love being a Christian. It's a very important part of my life. I know God loves me and He also loves heterosexuals. I have no problem with heterosexuals, some of them are my best friends.

You sound like a really great person, so I winced when I read that you're bisexual. If you bring up the subject in Bible study, you'll find that your teachers can point out many Bible passages in which homosexuality is condemned. Luckily, it's something you can work on.
Even while struggling with carnal sins (I know I've got my share, and I hate every one), it's great to be a Christian! Besides the eternal assurance, you become a member of a supportive church family!

I'm an evil homosexual, of course.
I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins
I believe that He is my Savior and NO ONE but God can judge me
and as long as Jesus Christ is in my heart and I humble myself to accept Him as my LORD above all others than no matter my sin
I will be covered and washed in His blood and be presented to my Heavenly Father in a form that is acceptable to His eyes
I try to wake the sleeping world by making them look inside themselves and rethink their hateful natural
especially towards homosexuals
I don't think it is OK to hate anyone...no matter what they have done..WE ARE ALL IN SIN..we must all forgive each other...how else can we expect for God to forgive us..if we cannot forgive each other?
this world has become the NOW...the presentation to others...how can we care more about how others see us than how our God sees us?
How can we deny the forgiving nature of Christ our Lord while we enjoy the new life that he has given us?
How can we deny God when he gave us this very precious life?
How can we use God and His precious Word and twist it around to attack others and serve our own personal views?
How can we take something that is so beautiful and present it to others as an ugly hateful thing?
that to me is one of the worst sins we can commit, sister-girl-sister-friend...
I believe in spreading a message..
I might not do it in an oh so up front nature
BUT I do aim for it to be thought provoking and hopefully enter the chambers of the heart...
I give you a brief example that can relate to Y!A lol!
ha, take my avatar...it's the devil..it didn't used to be until I started in on Christian debate and revealed my homosexuality and was deemed as the evil homosexual..
now I get yelled at for asking questions about God with my devil avatar...and I say...why are you mad? this is how you chose to see me, the evil homosexual? and that made them even more angry...
angry about their anger, i suppose AND THATS THE POINT
anyhow...*continues rant*
People have bought into the lie of this world and even most churches have taken the true spirit of God out of their houses...
houses of worship they are not..they are houses of a money making machine..driven by fear and hate and judgment towards one another
I also believe that we are heading towards the end of days yet like I said, many have buried themselves within this sleeping world buying into the lie..embracing the convenience of their own pleasure instead of opening their heart to the truth of God
I cannot live with myself if I deny my Lord and I am not ashamed ever to spread His word..to spread love and build common understandings
AHEM, I know that was very long but it is how I feel
thank you so much for giving me a chance to express the views that I am so passionate about
this is a really, really cool question girl!

I was a christian, but realized that there was no proof for any of it and that it is contradictory and based on a large amount of violence and denial of human rights. So now I'm an atheist, and realize that I'm responsible for my behavior without the need for external reward or punishment to do the right things.
