I dunno what's wrong but i have two male cats and one female in my house. At first i thought they were joking around (my male cats) bitting each other. But suddenly my older male cat bite the other male in his neck, and try to mate with him. What the hell?!! Im so in shock and after witness it for couple of minutes, i start to hit my cat, stopping them! But that's not enough, he do it again at outside (my mom see it)!
I dunno what to do right now and im soo lost in thought. I cant figure it out why? I still cant believe it!
Though im pro with the cats issue but this is the first time im being dumb bout it. Any thought at all coz i really need some! Gimme some logic answer, please...

ARE you're being controlled by your cat? Never hit them to teach them? Slave to your cat? Like, gently say " OH, no angel, don't be gay, ah..." without stopping them? You think they'll listen to your weak command???
(oh, god. This is my sis NOT ME!!)

LMAO! Not at YOU. I'm LMAO because I used to have a gay male cat, too. I had an orange/white tiger striped tabby kitten, and my next door neighbor had the very same kind of cat, but an adult (also male, both un-neutered--mine was still too young, and my neighbor just plain didn't bother to have his done). Anyhow, these 2 males only loved each other! This went on for several months (we actually thought this was funny), and then, we came up with the brilliant idea of introducing a pretty little Himalayian female into the mix to see what they would think of her. Bad idea--BAD! These 2 gay-blades would gang up on her, hiss and spit, swat at her, keep her away from food, water, the litter box, any/all toys, the scratching post, EVERYTHING!--This was pathetic! I felt so sorry for this little female that the friend who brought her over gave her to me to take home. I didn't actually live where this was going on--I was a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant) caring for a young lady who was wheelchair bound, and pretty much couldn't use any part of her body due to a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy. We adopted "Ozzie" (our cat) from our apartment manager who's queen had a litter of 6. "Ozzie" was the greatest cat---EVER, even though we knew that both he and "Tomas" were gay.

Now, for YOU, you might be able to solve this problem by getting them both neutered. I am assuming that they aren't neutered YET. But, I AM sure that if you do get them both neutered asap, this business will stop. For YOUR sake, I surely hope it does. And, PLEASE don't hit your cats. The most effective way is to use a squirt bottle filled with plain tap water. Every time you catch them at it, give them a couple good "blasts" of the water while firmly saying "NO!" But, honestly, having them both neutered, I can almost assure you will stop this behavior. And, don't get too upset--remember, a male cat will "hump" anything--even a stuffed toy---they aren't "picky", just like some men--LOL! Good luck with this solution.

Sometimes animals of the same gender display in this way to show dominance. It doesn't mean he's gay, he just wants your other male to know that he is top dog (or cat in this case).

Getting him and the other cat NEUTERED (not spaded, there's no such word, plus you "spay" females) may help reduce the occurrance, but the behavior may never go away.

Instead of hitting, because cats don't know the meaning of punishment or a spanking, try spraying him with water. Keep doing that when you see it happening and it should lessen if not stop completely.

Never hit an animal for doing something that animals do. The cats are either just playing, or the one that got on top is trying to show his dominence and show that he is king of the house and must be obeyed.

Besides, even if he is gay, why should that change anything? He's still the same cat that you knew before.

The cat is not gay, he is just displaying dominance over the other cat. I have 3 neutered male cats and the youngest tries to hump both older and the oldest humps the middle one. It's establishing the pecking order in the pack.

Oh, no! Not GAY! You never thought that would "happen" to someone you KNOW! Eeewww, gross!

Seriously. Grow the hell up, Mr. Intolerance.

On the cats, what others have said above me is correct. It's a dominance issue, not a sexuality issue, STOP HITTING YOUR CAT, and you need to get your cats fixed IMMEDIATELY.

1. NEVER hit an animal
2. If the males are intact (unneutered) this behavior is a sign of frustration (sexually) especially if a female cat in heat is around.
Some males will show their dominance over another by showing this behavior.
3. Have your cats spayed or neutered and you shouldn't have to deal with this.
Less kittens for an already overpopulated pet world.

When dogs do this nobody freaks or calls them gay, but a cat...go figure.

If your cats aren't neutered, they're going to have sexual urges. Get them neutered. Mounting is a sign of dominance, but full sex is just frustration. And while neutered males may once in a while do this too, it's not all that common.

Stop freaking, stop calling your cats gay (they aren't) and get them to a vet to get snipped. That or get used to them being cats who don't have a female in heat around.

He's closet Bi, and doesn't want to admit it, because he's married to a woman. Men have their G-Spot in their rectum to be honest, and it's not GAY to manipulate that area. What is Gay/ or BI, is that he is oogling other men, and making a show of " see.. I'm not gay, look.. it' sjust a joke".. He wouldn't make rude comments about strange men if he wasn't suddenly having an identity crisis.. which he is. This is very dangerous, DO NOT HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX with your husband until this is dealt with. Take hiim with you to a counselor and talk about this. My uncle was closet gay for years, and after this stage, he kept it quiet, and cheated on my aunt for many many years with random men. He contracted HIV and died from the Aids infection from having sexual intercourse up the rectum with men who were carrying the disease. Stop allowing him to manipulate and fool you. Take him in to talk to someone, or divorce him. He's not honest and trusting of you. He's not sexually attracted to you, he's probably thinking about penis' when he's having sex.

While some animals have been known to engage in what we might call homosexual activity (some animals even masturbate regularly!), it's up for debate whether an animal would be considered gay in the human sense of the word.

For one thing, I wouldn't worry about it. What does it matter?

Are both males fixed? If not, they should be.

In any case, it's more likely about dominance than sex (huh, sounds like something else that looks like sex but isn't.....)
