Hi there !
They are the shoes with more depth than standard shoes which is being used by ortho and diabetic patients. Because of the extra depth, special insoles meant for diabetics and orthopaedic patients can be accommodated and more space is available for the foot for these patients. Hence "more care for the foot" and hence "speedy recovery" too...
like this, "extra depth shoes" are also available !

best wishes !

depth shoes can ease the inflammation and discomfort of arthritis. Clinical studies have also shown that proper footwear along with orthotics can play an important role in diabetic foot care. And these shoes come with wide toe boxes to reduce cramping and allow the toes to spread out evenly.
