does ford motor company use differenciation strategy or cost based strategy?

All I can say is that Ford is concerned about cutting costs and they try to make the vehicle as low cost as possible. So I would think that they use a cost based strategy. However, do not accept this answer as totally correct, since I wasn't in accounting.
