I have fibromyalgia and want to buy one for my lower back but have no idea which one to get. Would like one that has longest lasting relief as don't want to get up and down due to other health problems. I'll be using it in a recliner.

Their action is going to be about the same. You should not use any heating pad for more than twenty minutes. You have to wait 30 minutes and then you can place the heating pad back. More than twenty minutes can cause burning to the tissues and muscles. I have Fibromyalgia so I understand why you don't want to get up and down. It would probably be best to purchase an electric moist heating pad that you can turn off and on at the appropriate times.

Hi,
I discovered a new product for my mother when she was sick. It is called Thermacare. They are a thin bandage with several small discs that are activated by air when you open the package. It sticks on you with small adhesive ( no problem to remove) The best thing is they say they are good for eight hours, but they do stay warm longer than that. Now they offer then in a gold box as arthritis strength. They are wonderful and very reasonably priced. Good luck in your search.
