There are a lot of tattoo artists that specialize in covering old or unsightly tattoos. Go into a tattoo shop and ask to see the portfolio of an artist who specializes in covering and look at all the before and after pictures. You should be able to find someone who can do it for you.
There's always laser tattoo removal, but it's expensive and painful and takes 5 or 6 sessions.

The best bet would be to get a cover up. If your tattoo is dark (colored), you'll have to get a pretty big cover up. They have laser removal ...but I personally think that the scars are uglier than any tattoo could be.
I think that even if people think it's an ugly tattoo, it shouldn't be taken off, because it still tells a story. And it'll make the rest of your tattoos look better. Ha.

Go to a good tattoo artist, and see what they can do to help you. A lot of times, they can add onto it or even cover it up totally to make it better looking.
Or you can get it surgically removed, however I have heard that is ALOT more expensive and even more PAINFUL! :(

Mister w.g.,It's quite common to regret what you first chose in a tattoo, there are tattoo artist that can figure out another tattoo to cover the old one it's done all the time,but have more then one discussion with the artist to make sure you would like what he suggest this time

No, I'm just joking hahaha!
I would suggest going to another artist with lots of talent and experience and getting it either re-worked, or covered up. Your only other option is laser removal, which is expensive and 50 times more painful than getting the tattoo.

If you dont have the money to get it removed you try and cover it up with something better. Or you just sit and stare at it everyday like i do and think of how ugly it is and how stupid you where that day.

you can go get another tatto over it my dad had an ugly tatoo but he got another one over it but try to get a good one and by a proffesional

you get it covered up!! thankfully i have educated myself enough to never have the displeasure of getting an ugly tattoo from now to the end of my life because i will always chose the best artist that i am able to get tattooed by. not all tattooers are talented and i am sure to check and double check portfolios and professional reputations beforehand.

haha i dunno i love all my tattoos and would never get them covered up..i suppose if it was ugly cuz tha artist screwed up i would either have it fixed by someone other then the dink who messed it up to begin with or i may look into laser surgery...my 3 options would be get it fixed, get it covered with something else and as a last resort get laser removal
