The US Marines were banned from filming a recruitment commerical in the Baaay City. Given their anti military stance, should Al Queda choose to target San Fran, should the Marines let them have it?

I say, if the Marines are not welcome in your city now, don't come screaming for help when the attack comes. Maybe you can throw flowers at them instead?
BTW, what is the 'gay' population in San Fran now? After Al Queda gets there, it will be zero..........

I found it rather amusing that their excuse was traffic flow and when the marines even said they would film at 4 in the morning they were still turned down. I do wonder about the wisdom of a city that will eventually be hit by a earthquake and demand the federal government send in the troops to help them go out of their way to alienated the military. Hey, it's their right to be the way they are but they will be singing an other tune some day.

OOOOH! Well, not Seattle. Or NY. Birmingham? Not so much. Definitely Los Angeles (I might be biased because I'm from SoCal...). Even though SF boasts Metallica, my fave. LA has LEGENDARY clubs. The Roxy. The Whisky A Go Go. Audioslave. Bad Religion. The Doors. Dokken. The Eagles. Guns N Roses. Frank Zappa. Motley Crue. Megadeth. Metallica (kind of since they played some gigs there). Pennywise. Rage Against the Machine. Red Hot Chili Peppers. Slayer. Sublime. Tool. Van Halen. System of a Down. So yes, definitely Los Angeles. And NWA is from there. Haha!

I think the actions of those prohibiting our military from filming are absolutely deplorable.
The military is what keeps us free, and allows these people to act like such fools!
PS If it's fair to criticize Larry Craig for being hypocritical (for opposing same-sex marriage), then I suppose it's also fair to point out when homosexuals don't support a fight against an enemy that thinks gays should be executed. One would think that anyone supportive of human rights (including gay rights) would oppose the terrorists, not the people fighting them.

I read that article yesterday. I was very appalled that they had the nerve to tell them "no" my goodness! What in the world, you have traffic issues? I am sure the people of san fran would not care to be a little inconvenienced for a little bit. Oh well, it just goes to show where they stand.

Even though I hate the political stands in SF I hope not since I have friends who live and work in the SF area. They hate the stands of the city but due to jobs are still in this region.

You are obviously homophobic and have a "thing" against San Franscisco...
Okay.
But your impression of "San Fran" is exactly what the Marines are trying not to portray by filming there. With so many wonderful places in the US that don't inspire immediate images of "gay" community values, why not pick one of a millon others?
As far your assumption that Al Qeda is coming to America....
What the hell are you thinking?
g-day!

I'm beginning to think you people actually think the terrorists can take over the USA.
It's a shame how fear and a lack of how our US Constitution works brings us these silly rants.
