The Bible is book written by men as an attempt to lend credence to a popular cult. Men invent gods and bestow them with many attributes including authorship.

Wouldn't the holder of all knowledge, and creator of the universe, write a better, more plausible book than the Bible?

If you examine the evidence, there still exist today over 2,300 copies of the New Testament books in the original language from the early years of the Christian church - before the time of Constantine and the first Church Council whom many alledge altered the New Testament. Some of these manuscripts come from less then 20 years after the originals were written.

When compared, the manuscripts agree with each other word for word over 99.7% of the time. Of the remaining 0.3%, the majority of differences is either a different spelling of the the same word, or the reveral of two words such as Christ Jesus instead of Jesus Christ. Of the over 138,000 words of the New Testament, there are questions less then 40 of them. None of them affect any Christian doctrine.

Since the Bible is written in languages that are no longer spoken today (Hebrew and Koine Greek), it has been translated into English and most other languages over the last 1600 years. But those translations all go back to the original langage texts as their source. A translation is not a "changing" of the meaning or content of the book, merely the language.

As any time you translate any document between two languages, you will introduce some minor differences into the text, scholars always go back to the original when studying it. Plus we are fortunate enough to have multiple translations which can be compared to help in understanding any differences introduced.

As someone who can, and has, read the text in the original languages, I know that the translations used today are an accurate and reliable translation of the original texts.

Both the Quraan and the bible are books of men. Both were authored by man. Yes, the Quraan has not changed like the bible, but both were passed down by word of mouth through stories for hundreds of years before they were written down. Have you ever heard the same story twice (exactly the same)? No, because everyone changes it just a little, even though they are trying to say exactly the same thing.

The Bible is a collection of early Near Middle Easter Jewish myth , history and oral tradition. It has been translated, mis-translated and edited for hundreds of years.

The Quraan is seen as the literal revealed word of Allah, and is therefore forbidden to be edited or changed in any way, for to do so would be an affront to Allah, and therefore blasphemy and apostacy.

Then you found out wrong. In point of fact, it is the Quraan that has changed numerous times. The Bible has remained constant.

http://www.bible-researcher.com shows how much has changed, (very little, or more precisely, nothing that matters)

The Quraan was fabricated and condensed by men, and apparently you believe the fables that are propagated by divisive individuals.

May the Grace of God enlighten your whole being.

The Bible has changed so much, that we really have no idea what the original writings were like - it's just eductaed guessing.

Obviously, a god who would write a holy book, but then allow it to be corrupted, doesn't have his head on straight.
