I'm a conservative and I admit the climate is changing but my question is:
Are all those rich liberals in Hollywood willing to make the sacrifices that can help stop climate change?
Are they willing to ditch their limos and get on a bike?
Are they willing to stop flying on their private jets from Long Beach to Los Angeles?

You can scream all you want about global warming but if you don't start doing practical things that are necessary to solve this problem, the public will not pay any attention.

The Fat Cat Arseholes in Hollywood and so on, won't do sod -all, bercause they think that when the time comes they can pay for a way out of the situation. As long as it doesn't bother them, they won't do anything to help.

I live in England and we are seeing the damage of global warming here, theres been alot more rain than our normal 163 days a year type stuff, there are more floods, we had our first nasty tornado in a very, very , very long time. we havent had much of a summer and due to the fact that the Ozone layer is very thin. England is going to change into something that it should not be.

Thanks to logging, Coal Mining and other such things, we might look like that crap "Water World" Film yet.

all this was supposed to happen by the year 2000, and if man didn't stop using fossil fuels. we had 30+ years of "irrefutable data" showing that man caused it too.

but we didn't stop, we used more!

with this kind of track record how can anyone seriously "believe" global warming

If we don't switch to nuclear power we're not going to solve the problem, no matter how many people change a limo for a death trap (or is that bicycle) and how many take the train instead of flying.

We'll also need to find a way to make transportation fuels that don't release CO2 (biofuels aren't the answer, we need the farmland for food, not fuel) and that means either hydrogen or synthetic hydrocarbons.

Do that and it won't matter whether you take the train or a Yak 40 across country or whether you drive a gas guzzler or a Prius because they won't be releasing any CO2 that wasn't already in the atmosphere to begin with.

Global warming is the biggest hoax ever. Back in the 70's all the climatologist thought we were in global cooling, so how can we go from global cooling to global warming??? I'm also perplexed by the fact that the average temperature on mars went up by 3 deg.F last year. does that mean there is global warming on Mars too??? It's normal for temperatures to fluctuate and be warmer some years than others. I think I'm going to go for a stroll in my giant SUV, hope this helps!
