Most Christians do not take the stories of creation in the Bible literally. Catholics believe the book of Genesis tells religious truth and not necessarily historical fact.
One of the religious truths is that God created everything and declared all was good.
Catholics can believe in the theories of the big bang or evolution or both or neither.
On August 12, 1950 Pope Pius XII said in his encyclical Humani generis:
The Teaching Authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions, on the part of men experienced in both fields, take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter - for the Catholic faith obliges us to hold that souls are immediately created by God.
Here is the complete encyclical: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/pius_xii/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xii_enc_12081950_humani-generis_en.html
The Church supports science in the discovery of God's creation. At this time, the theories of the big bang and evolution are the most logical scientific explanations. However tomorrow someone may come up with better ideas.
As long as we believe that God started the whole thing, both the Bible and modern science can live in harmony.
With love in Christ.

Do you mean if the God told us ,how he create us?
if you mean that :
yes ,i am muslim , and the God said many things about this in the Holy Book Quran.
And also emberyology which is the science of embryo formation and DNA ,present in Quran and it wasn't known before.
The God create Adam from clay ( dust and water) which is carbon , oxygen and nitrogen and the God put the spirit inside him and science discover these atoms inside us , only the God know secrets of human body and create eve from Adam and repair them to make us (the humanity).
The God who create us and know what he did ,put some of his secrets in the holy book , which the science till now making new discoveries and at last ,we find it in our holy book.
from what i see in my holy book Quran , i believe from all my heart ,that " There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is the messenger of Allah".

God sent my soul as a gift for my parents to grow in my mother's womb. My parents loved each other so much that God blessed them with the gift of a child. God teaches us in the Bible that children are a blessing from him and the highest honor to anyone on earth is given to a mother. I understood this more after marriage to the man I love and having our children. It just doesn't get any better!

I don't know where I came from (other than sperm and egg) - and I don't care. I'm a Religious Scientist - and yes our "holy book" says something about creation - but I haven't bothered to pay much attention to it. I don't see the importance in where I came from. I'm here now. The more important question is - "what am I supposed to do now?"

I grew out of sexual reproduction in my mother's body. That's where I, in particular, came from.
The Bible mentions pregnancy and childbearing, but I think it's moreso as a "given" and not so much as an explanation for where people came from.

The Bible says that God created the first man and woman along with everything else that was created. That means that He is the one who owns me and he will have the last word about where I will spend eternity.
