Do I get any benefits for running Folding Home project? I'll run it anyway, because it helps to sick people, but it's interesting anyway.

If researchers find a cure for a disease, and your PS3 happened to run that part of the project, you can feel good knowing that your PS3 helped contribute to finding a cure for that disease. Think of it as chicken soup for the PS3 gamer's soul.
