In Matthew 16:15, Jesus asks, “Whom say ye that I am?” Peter answers, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ substitutionary death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. First John 2:22 says, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

George Walker Bush, 43rd president of the US.
He is behaving in exactly the way expected by fundamentalist christians, to wit, charasmatic, wealthy, constantly quoting scripture, claiming a special relationship with God and leading the world into a destructive war. The pathetic thing is, to most fundamentalist christians, he is viewed not as the Antichrist, but as their true leader. Just as the fundies beliefs say the Antichrist would lead the spiritually and morally blind.
What does that say about fundamentalist christians?

The Antichrist will be a European man of great wealth, power and authority indwelt by Satan with all the answers to man's "problems" in an effort to convince man he's God. Since that kind of worship is what Satan craves, he tries to imitate the triune God in the personage of "miracles" through science, religion (with the help of the False Prophet) and commerce.

a false Christ. Santa Clause is a great example. When Jesus returns he will return with a red suit, white hair and beard rewarding the faithful and punishing those that apposed him. (sound familiar) Santa must be sinless because rom 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. Must controll time (no way he can deliver all those gifts in time allotted). Kids pray to him. worship him. But you get the idea. What in your life is more important than Jesus? What has replaced him for your affection?

I don't think but know that.....
Bible points out anti-christ were already in the world in the time of Paul.
They went out from us and have no part in us.
Be watchful of ppl and evil spirits as angels of light,
meaning be leery of the way ppl say things even if it sounds good.
Doctrines of end time would be one of my case and points.

When the book of Revelations was written, it was to reel in the Christians who were living in two worlds. They practiced Christianity but also worshipped the current Caesar of Rome (Nero, I believe). The AntiChrist figure was to frighten them into stopping this practice.
