You're gonna get reported, no doubt.

So I'm going to take a quick two points and simply say that they certainly seem to think they're original... The fundies anyway. The rational ones simply have faith beyond what history teaches.

I like the way that you just assume what you say is true.

For everyone else who reads this, it isn't true. I have read this time and again, that some religion had a guy rise from the dead b4 christianity, so we stole that from them.... Or the idea of turning water to wine was around, so we stole it...

Same as the crap with the holidays... Christmas / Easter, were all "stolen" religious days, because pagans call it a summer solistice feast or something...

10,000 religions have been on this earth, hell more than that. There are only 365 days in the year, there is bound to be some overlaps.

Here is an original thought for you, RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BLASTS SOMEONES RELIGION!!! Almost every religion on the face of this planet has absorbed components of religions that they supplant. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are included. I am Catholic and am very much an original thinker. I was questioning the dogma that the nuns and priest were feeding me at the age of six. That doesn't make me any less of a Christian. Generalizations like the one you made in your question mark you as yet another sheep who follows the trend of bashing a group that you obviously haven't bothered to learn about.

True Chrisitans: there are only about 1,000,000 of us left. We are not a denomination ie: Catholic, Protestant, Lutheran, Mormon..we are none of these. We keep God's word and live by it. We do not change or add to His word. These other religions have done so. Have you ever read the Mormon's book? A catholic bible? They have changed the word of God to fit their needs. Did you know the Catholics actually keep the Truth from you? If you read the bible: King James version, you will find differences from the Catholic one.

Not exactly true at all. Christianity is as unique as any other religion existing in modern time.

I'm not a Christian, but that comment is just more than a bit off.

Christianity is a progression of Judaism.
God gave certain promises to Israel, and many of these promises have been full filled by all that Jesus has done, and all the promises will begin to be full filled when Jesus returns.

actually its reverse, satan cannot create, he has to take that which God has made and change it to seem original.

while some aspects of christianity are reflected in other religions even older ones, this came about because demons knew much of the plan of God and tried to lessen it by mocking it before God was even done, this is seen by how early satan came to Adam.

well its natural for humans to borrow, sometimes even subconsciously, from those that they interact with. any philosophy or religion that persists through many many centuries will inevitably change, adapt, grow. it is also only natural that people want to believe that their particular beliefs or faith is unique and original, whether it is or not.

it makes for a good analogy; that all things, even the religions that reject it, do in fact evolve.

Actually, you have it sdrawkcab. Secular humanism has been stealing, persecuting, and lying since time began. Therefore, they have no idea of what and "original thought" is. They continue to buy into the schemes and lies of the devil, there is no idea within them of any "original thought", other than to persecute those who refuse to fall into the same trap they fall into. Ha! jokes on YOU!

The Christian religion is the fulfillment of Judaism. Nothing is stolen it is the same truth and the same God.
