We went to Florida to visit a relative, the day we were leaving my daughter had a slight case of diarreah, I also noticed she had tiny tiny bumps like goosebumps on her face, barely noticeable until up close, I just noticed her skin didn't look as smooth as usual. She is slightly warm, but I wouldn't call it a fever. She is still somewhat active but sometimes says "I don't feel good". Her diarreah has improved a little, but her face still has those tiny bumps (forehead, nose, cheeks) it's not on her body. I am considering bringing her to the pediatrician. Am I over-reacting?

No, she didn't swim at all. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Has anyone experienced this? Thanks

I don't think you are over reacting. You should at least call her doc. and explain the symptoms to see if they want to see her. FYI there is a virus going around our area (Maryland) that's a 2 day span. Diarrhea and vomiting, one or both. Good Luck.

Your 4 year old will love going on his trip to disney. A really good place to stay that he would love is the Value Resort Level. A good thing that is good about the Value resort level is that there usually the ones geared toward the children and they will have more fun with it. There prices are really cheap compared to the other resorts that in Disney they have rooms from $82 a night and you can get a family of four package for $1600 for 6 nights/7 Days. The Disney Value Resorts are these ones: Disney Pop Century Disney All-Star Music Disney All-Star Movie Disney All-Star Sports Another Good options for lodging would be the Disney Wilderness Campground. They are a really neat experience and they have Campsites from $41 a night. That's a really fun and neat experience if you like the outdoors and Such. The best place to get reasonable prices would go through a travel agent because they can get you really good ideas or you could go through the Walt Disney World Resort directly because the can get you some really good prices and rate also. There are alot of good Character dining in and around Disney that are reasonable prices here are a few listed Cape May Cafe- Disney Beach Club Resort $15.00-$35.99 Chef's Mickey- Disney's Contempary Resort $15.00-$35.99 The Crystal Palace- Magic Kingdom Parkland Main St USA $15.00-$35.99 Donalds Safari Breakfast- Magic Kingdom Parkland Africa $15.00-$35.99 Liberty Tree Tavern- Magic Kingdom Parkland Liberty Square $15.00-$35.99 Play House Disney Play N Dine- Disney Hollywood Studios $15.00-$35.99 Those are all the goods Good Character experiences and they are all price the same and Reasonable note all the prices are per person There are alot of fun things to do and hit up while at the Animal Kingdom here are a few: Finding Nemo the Musical Festival of the Lion King It's Tough to be a bug Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade Dinorama part of the park filled with everything dinosaurs Seaworld is also alot of fun here are a few things: At Seaworld you really want to hit up all the shows there that they have like the Seals and Shamu because those shows are amazing I basically suggest doing everything at Seaworld because I am sure that he will love it. Another thing that he would love to do if it's in your budget or not is go swimming with dolphins at discovery cove thats something everyone in your family would love. I hope all this info helps you out and have fun on your vacation.

Nobody would say you're overreacting. Take her in for a quick look. What did you mean by, "slightly warm but wouldn't call it a fever?" Feeling slightly warm to you could be....a fever. Take her temp. Even a low grade fever is an indication of a medical problem. Maybe she had an adverse reaction to the drinking water there. You don't know until you get her checked out. Worst case scenario....she could have encephalitis.

I do not think you are over-reacting at all. Kids sometimes can get the runs but having this breakout with it sounds like it could be a little more serious. A person never knows after traveling what their child could possibly have got. I would certainly take mine to the doctor very quickly!! Chicken pox breaks out like this and they might get the runs at the same time. but so many things could cause this and since you took this trip I think you better go to the doctor as soon as possible
